‘Open Shutter: Andy Wright’ part one

‘Open Shutter: Andy Wright’ part one

Videograss has just released the first part of their Open Shutter video series on snow photographer Andy Wright.

This episode follows the photographer down memory lane from his pre-digital beginnings in 1996. From here we can see the skaters’ skate, skills and the normal mistake they’d been doing to get to this point.

This includes his first published photo of Jason Brown and JP Walker’s ground-breaking backcountry double cork.

Wright Saying…

Says Wright: “Now you look at the shot right when you got it, and it’s next, next, next. Everything is so immediate. This way you just sit in front of a light box getting a light box cam, it’s way better.”
